Resolve Named a Visionary in 2024 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Service Orchestration and Automation Platforms

September 12, 2024

CAMPBELL, Calif. (Sept. 12, 2024)Resolve Systems®, the leading provider of IT automation and orchestration, today announced it has been named a Visionary in the 2024 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Service Orchestration and Automation Platforms (SOAPs).

This recognition underscores Resolve's unique ability to help enterprise IT teams break free from reactive, ticket-driven service models and embrace a more scalable, automated, and intelligent approach to operations. Visionary vendors in the Magic Quadrant are recognized for their strong innovation, future-focused execution, and differentiated strategies.

"We believe being named a Visionary reflects our commitment to helping IT teams move faster, work smarter, and automate across every layer of their environment," said Sean Heuer, CEO of Resolve Systems. "As businesses grapple with tool sprawl, cloud complexity, and service pressure, Resolve provides the orchestration backbone they need to operate at scale—without chaos."

According to Gartner, SOAPs are now essential for managing modern IT operations, especially as organizations rely on complex hybrid infrastructures, distributed architectures, and increasing volumes of digital services. These platforms combine workflow orchestration, workload automation, resource provisioning, and support for data pipelines and cloud-native ecosystems—making them critical to delivering end-to-end IT services efficiently.

Resolve's flagship product, Resolve Actions, is built for this challenge. It allows organizations to design, deploy, and scale automation across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments, while integrating seamlessly with existing tools and processes. The platform's unique ability to orchestrate actions across siloed systems makes it a powerful enabler of intelligent automation and ticket deflection.

Resolve was also the only vendor recognized for the same platform in both this Magic Quadrant and the 2024 Gartner Market Guide for Network Automation Platforms—a dual placement that highlights Resolve Actions' breadth, depth, and relevance across IT domains.

This recognition comes at a time when many IT organizations are realizing that their current automation strategies—cobbled together with scripts, schedulers, and disparate tools—are no longer sustainable. Resolve's platform addresses this gap with a unified automation engine that simplifies complexity, accelerates resolution, and enables IT to focus on transformation rather than triage.
