Resolve was recognized by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for its handling of sensitive information
CAMPBELL, Calif. (Dec. 7, 2023) — Resolve Systems®, the leading intelligent IT automation software vendor, today announced that the company has earned the SOC 2 Type II Compliance, a framework designed to ensure that organizations handle sensitive data securely and maintain the privacy and confidentiality of information.
The SOC 2 Type II Compliance is a set of standards developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), specifically for technology and cloud computing organizations. According to the AICPA, the SOC 2 Type II Compliance examination is a report with detailed information and assurance about the controls at a service organization relevant to security, availability, and processing integrity of the systems the service organization uses to process users’ data and the confidentiality and privacy of the information processed by these systems.
As part of the SOC 2 Type II examination process, an independent third-party auditor evaluates and verifies the effectiveness of an organization’s information security policies and procedures in a pre-specified time period. It is essential for organizations that handle and manage sensitive information, as it builds trust with customers, partners, and other stakeholders by showcasing a strong commitment to protecting the privacy and security of data.
The trust service compliance for Resolve was in three areas of defined criteria, including security, availability, and confidentiality.
“We are thrilled to announce that Resolve has successfully achieved SOC 2 Type II Compliance, a testament to our unwavering commitment to data security and privacy,” Resolve CEO Sean Heuer said. “This milestone underscores our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and trustworthiness for our clients and partners, and it supports Resolve’s future plans for enhancing data security and privacy practices even further.”
The SOC 2 Type II Compliance achievement benefits Resolve’s clients by ensuring robust data security, and helps them reduce risks and maintain uninterrupted service, compliance, secure collaboration, and efficient incident response.
