How It Works
Lightweight data collectors intelligently scan subnets or user-input boundaries to quickly identify compute, network, and storage CIs (Configuration Items) in your environment. They also determine a variety of details about each entity, including vendor make, model, platform, configuration, IP address, and more. The resulting real-time inventory can be easily viewed by device type or IP address range, in custom filtered groups, or in a tabular list view.

Map Application Dependencies to Dynamic, Underlying Infrastructure

Resolve Insights automatically discovers complex, distributed applications and then maps dependencies to the underlying infrastructure components that support them. And that’s invaluable when something goes wrong with business critical apps, like your SAP or e-commerce system.

How It Works
Resolve Insights automates application discovery, including discovery of application flows and application services within the hosts. For more complex applications comprised of many items, we also use a proprietary clustering algorithm that dynamically discovers collections of interconnected app flows. A drag-and-drop interface groups these flows together to create a single pane of glass for each business-critical app.

Our patented technology also maps application services flows to underlying infrastructure, including discovery of hybrid infrastructure topology. The resulting application maps help you visualize the relationships between components and offer fault and alert overlays, so you can quickly see how infrastructure issues are impacting business-critical applications.
